Electric Bookshop

 

A unique series of events and projects, Electric Bookshop was a collaboration between myself, Peggy Hughes and Padmini Ray Murray, to explore the future of books, literature and the written word in the digital age. 

Our projects included The Publishing House of the Future, a hack weekend project with Publishing Scotland that took place in CodeBase, and Pressed for Time, a digital and analogue literary interactive art installation which was displayed as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival, and funded by the Alt-W Fund. 

We received support and funding from the UK Government Creative Innovation KTN and Creative Scotland. 

Our events were supported and hosted by New Media Scotland in Inspace and by a variety of other partners in Edinburgh and beyond.
