​ASTRID JAEKEL
Astrid Jaekel is an illustrator who works in the mediums of drawing, painting and paper-cut. She will be demonstrating and teaching techniques and assisting with creative book cover design. Astrid’s work includes working with publishers to design and illustrate books and mural design.
​COLIN FRASER
Colin Fraser is a digital producer and editor, he edited a poetry magazine for 4 years and produces book-related podcasts. He also runs social media for literary organisations, including the Edinburgh International Book Festival. He will be assisting with audio and interview, but can also help with social media, magazine and poetry publishing.
​GAVIN INGLIS
Gavin Inglis is a writer of fiction and interactive narratives, including games for Choice of Games and the Alt-W funded project Hannah Feels. He is one of the founders of Writers Bloc, a writing and spoken word collective. Gavin will be introducing you to interactive storytelling tools, techniques and platforms and will be available to help with any interactive narrative projects.
​MIRIAM JOHNSON
Miriam Johnson works in the Writer Development team of Scottish Book Trust, is a publishing scholar currently researching a PhD in social media in publishing, with experience of blogging, book festivals and was managing director of literary journal The Istanbul Review.
​JAMES HARDING
James T Harding manages Stewed Rhubarb Press, is the features editor of Broadway Baby, and a freelancer across writing, design and social media. Advice included spoken-word publishing and how digital publishing has enhanced and effected his publishing practice and will be on hand to help with digital publishing know-how.
​ELEANOR STEWART
Eleanor Stewart is a paper artist, illustrator and animator, specialising in stop-motion. She uses paper to create typography and bring a handmade aesthetic to her animations. She will be talking about using paper to bring a tactile feel to online page designs and will be on hand to help with illustration and creative page design needs.

​BILL GOLDSMITH
William Goldsmith is a graphic novelist and illustrator, with a graphic novel Vignettes of Ystov published by Jonathan Cape and a second The Bind forthcoming. He created artwork for a graphic novel by Scottish Book Trust about naturalist John Muir and a variety of comics. He will be talking about the processes of sequential storytelling and other aspects of graphic novel publishing.
​SANDY
NOBLE
Sandy Noble is a programmer with a background in design. He is the creator of the Polargraph large format drawing machines. Sandy will be assisting with using, programming and prototyping hardware and software – working with the Polargraph.
